General Information:
  • Auditions will be held by video submission.
    • Please submit a video, e-mailed to info@showtimetheatrecompany.com, with the subject line- "Anything Goes Audition", by April 20th. Also put your name and phone number in the body of the e-mail.
    • Video auditions should consist of your name, introduction of what you will be singing, and a song of your choice, that shows of your vocal range and personality.
    • Videos should be limited to 1.5-2 minutes.
    • As this is an usual circumstance, you are welcome to audition using one of the songs from the call back details list below.
      • Video Tip: Test it first. Make sure you can be seen from the waist up, you are well lit, and heard clearly.
  • Casting is done at the discretion of the Production Team.
  • There are limited positions available for children, and some children who audition may not be cast in the show. Preference is given to children of the adult participating actors and and those with positive mature behavior, as the rehearsal process is fast and more advanced than our children's productions.
  • If your child is not ready for potentially being cut after an audition, and/or for more training, please check out our summer camp offerings for children K-5th and 6th-12th.
  • Double casting may be applied to some or all positions, and will allow for a minimum of 2 performances per actor.
  • Tuition is $300 for all participants regardless of role.
    • Registration fee of $30 is due at enrollment, and required within one week of casting, to secure your role.
    • Balance of $270 can be paid in $90 installments due April 26th, 2020, May 26th, 2020 and June 26th, 2020.
    • 10% discount on tuition for additional performers from the same household.
    • Tuition costs can be offset by ad sales with funds required in full by each payment deadline.
  • Rehearsals will begin Tuesday April 28th, typically 2-3 times a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 7-9PM, depending on character role assigned.  A general schedule will be given out prior to the start of rehearsals. Rehearsals may begin virtually, depending on health conditions and concerns in the area. (Please note, should conditions continue to be poor for larger group gatherings, we may need to increase the number of online rehearsals, and then in person rehearsals as needed, or potentially cancel the production.  We are not certain yet, as this is an every changing situation.)
  • All Rehearsal conflicts will need to be pre-approved by the production team.  No conflicts are acceptable once production has moved into the theater (July 10th- 19th).  Please plan any trips accordingly.
