Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is now Cast! See cast lists below.

***Note from Showtime Theatre Company's Director:

Casting is an emotional process. Please be respectful of the feelings of those who did not make the cast list and/or did not get the parts they were hoping for.  The nature of casting scripted shows and competitive teams means we will always be breaking some hearts.  So, students and parents please refrain from posting or boasting about casting online or in the studio for a couple days, until emotions have settled.  We look forward to working with all of you!

Amazing job to everyone who auditioned!  We wish we could cast all of you, but due to the sheer number of auditionees, we did need to make some cuts.  If you were not cast in this production, we hope to see you at future auditions or in the studio in one of our K-12 or adult training programs in acting, dance, music, and more!

If you were cast in Joseph.... I am assuming you are planning to participate.  If you are NOT planning to participate, please email [email protected] and let us know by January 20th.
-K-12 students who are cast, must be enrolled in Showtime Academy's year-round training program by January 31st to participate.
-Adults are participating on a volunteer basis, this is not a paid performance opportunity. We also ask that adults consider becoming a Showtime Patron Sponsor.  Our sponsor's help to support our season shows, by supporting production costs such as rights and royalties, costumes, props, sets and more.  Details on Patron memberships can be found here:  Showtime Theatre Company Campaign: Season 12 Membership Drive   Patron memberships inculde early access to ticket sales, comp tickets and more.
-Ensemble number rehearsals will begin in March (Typically 7-9 Mondays and 6-8/9 Fridays) depending on characters/numbers assigned. Most ensemble groups will have one rehearsal a week until May. Details will be emailed out as we get closer.  Additional rehearsals will be added in May and June as we get closer to the show. Tech week is a blackout time, meaning all actors must attend.  Tech is June 12th-18th. Performances run 2 weekends June 19-21, and 26-28. (Actors out of town for college etc., we will provide rehearsals videos so you can keep up to date with material and choreography.)
-Our children's ensemble will be double cast, with each cast performing in 4 out of 8 shows.  We will determine how we want to break them up after rehearsals begin, based on vocal assignments and will let you know prior to tickets going on sale to the public.
-Lyric books are available for pick up at the Academy for those who do not read music.  Music books (For those who prefer lyrics with sheet music) and backing tracks will be available in February.  We will let you know when they arrive.

We are looking forward to a great show!!!

Mean Girls-

Please note:
-Although students have been chatting and proposing their dream casts amongst themselves, the student casting did not play a role in the actual casting. Auditions and experience with the performers directed the production team's final decisions.
-This production will rehearse at a fast pace with advanced vocals and choreography. Thus, it is a limited cast, not all who auditioned were cast in this production.  Please be respectful of each other in this process.
-If your child was cast, please make sure to become familiar with the content to make sure you are comfortable with your child participating in this production prior to rehearsals. This is the High School version, and content is VERY similar to the Broadway version. You can watch the Broadway Version here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=a47945KwaDw&t=1967s

Guys and Dolls
This production will rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Which days is dictated by the ensemble group or character they have been cast in and is noted on the cast list.  We did our best to keep siblings in the same casts, but that does not necessarily translate to the same rehearsal days. We also did our best to accommodate carpooling needs unless it required a change in casting. Some characters will be required at both Tuesday and Thursday rehearsals periodically.

JTF Academy Team-
Thank you all for auditioning for our 2026 JTF Team! We were blown away by the talent shown--over 100 students auditioned for one of our JTF teams, making this one of our most competitive seasons yet!

Showtime Theatre Company JTF Jan 2026 Team
Please Note- this was a very competitive year. We have one of the largest teams ever and still had to cut many students.  I expect the competition to get harder and harder every year, and not all on the team in one year will be guaranteed a spot in the following year. Hard work and dedication will be required. Additionally, all participants must adhere to the required classes and rehearsals, make up missed classes and missed rehearsal material.  Those not caught up and prepared by mid-November, will risk removal from the adjudication piece. Congrat's to everyone.  Be respectful of those who did not make it this year. -Thank you.
