Volunteer Opportunities:
Front of House Committee: As the “Face” of the theatre, this committee is responsible for greeting guests before and during productions. Responsibilities include ushering, supervising the will-call table, or handling concessions. Costume/Prop Committee: Assist the production team with costume fittings, helping backstage at performances, and some design and craft based projects as needed. Marketing Committee:Help for all facets of marketing, including public relations, media relations, promotions, advertising and research. Publicity Committee:Help in publicizing upcoming shows and events for Showtime Theatre Company. Facilitate connections with local organizations and groups. Community Outreach/ Engagement Committee:Work on projects with local nonprofits, help plan and participate in special events and festivals, and facilitate involvement with area schools. Development Committee:Help to organize and facilitate the organization’s overall fundraising efforts and events. Social/Events Committee:Help to plan and coordinate social activities for the benefit of the Playhouse, our Board members and patrons. Production/Technology Committee:Work on any of the facets of the production process such as set construction, painting, props, costumes, load in, strike, backstage help and various technical needs. |
